Why do you love me so much?

Why do leaves go crispy?

Did dragons exist?

How many colours in the rainbow?

Why can’t I have chocolate for breakfast?

Why is water wet?

Are we there yet?

Why do squirrels hide their nuts?

Will you read me a story?

Can I switch it on?

Why are carrots orange?

Why do zebras have stripes?

Do you want to be friends?

Why do you love me so much?

What is a shadow?

Where does snow go?

Are eggs alive?

Is it shiny?

How many pebbles?

Will you read me a story?

What happens when I fall asleep?

Why don’t snakes have legs?

Why do ladybirds have spots?

What is a reflection?

Who lives in a rock pool?

Do you want to be friends?

This term our topic is 'Why can't we have chocolate for breakfast?'

We weren't really sure why it was such a bad idea, so to start the topic off we decided to try it and see. Chocolate roll, chocolate buttons, chocolate fingers even chocolate milkshake were all on the menu for us to enjoy.

Later that morning we had a discussion all about the food we had eaten. We had really enjoyed tucking into the treats but knew it wasn't a good thing for us to do everyday. Getting big tummies, damaging our teeth and making it hard for us to do exercise, were all good reasons why these are not foods to eat for our breakfast. Over the rest of the term we will be looking for different foods and which ones would be a much more healthy breakfast choice.

Spring term 2 - Can I switch it on?

To really explore technology and what it can do, we went on a trip to Eureka! The children's science museum. We had an amazing day and had the chance to explore all kinds of different activities that used technology in a wide variety of different ways.  Take a look at the photos below to see what we got up to.

Spring Term 1 - Will you read me a story?

This term we have been exploring our favourite stories and story characters. We all had our own favourites which we wanted to share with our friends. So we had a special day where we could come into school dressed up as them. We had lots of fun and saw lots of different costume ideas.

In the afternoon we took part in some story character training. Inside we learnt how to be Princes and Princesses and spent time perfecting our bows, curtseys and learning how to dance. Outside we took part in a big bad wolf training course where we learnt how to blow down houses and took part in an assault course to prepare us for chasing after little pigs. We had a really fun day!
